Modulus Guitars, the company that invented and pioneered graphite-necked guitars and basses for over 30 years, tapped Petaluma-based Pasewark Creative to be its new full service advertising, marketing and PR agency. From company headquarters in Richmond, CA., Modulus marketing director Anderson Page made the announcement and explained that Pasewark’s responsibilities will encompass the full gamut of services and media: creative, production, publicity, digital, mobile, CRM and media-planning and buying.
Page added, “We’ve developed a relationship with Pasewark Creative over the last year and their guidance and creative strategy made the choice easy. They took the time to understand our business and they deliver excellent solutions on a consistent basis. With their help, we look forward to expanding our reach and increasing consumer awareness.”
Modulus Guitars enjoy a long professional relationship with hundreds of rock, funk and jazz artists like Phil Lesh (The Grateful Dead, Further), who has just taken possession of his sixth Modulus Quantum TBX, the high-end company’s top of the line bass. Other famous Modulus users include Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Alphonso Johnson (Weather Report) and Jeff Ament (Pearl Jam).
Don Pasewark, principal and creative lead for the agency explained “Our experience covers nearly 30 years of design and marketing for music industry manufacturers. Over the years, our clients have included Kaman Music, Ace Products (Kaces, Reunion Blues), Alembic and now Modulus.” Don is, and perhaps not entirely coincidentally, an inveterate bass player with groups on both coasts.
Agency clients are engaged in a variety of manufacturing and service industries in markets ranging from musical instruments for professional performers, sound systems in the K-12 education market, construction, large practice medical billing systems, fine arts, high tech products, services and events.
